Introduction
We are very proud to the staff of Smt. Chinnamma Basappa Patil Arts & Commerce Degree College, which runs under the prestigious Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society, which had enlightened this backward area with its educational Institution amongst them as this college is established in 1983 with noble aim and intension of providing the Degrees to the poor and the needy of rural students with graceful help by our late Shri. Mahadevappa Rampure and Shri. Veerendra Patil former chief minister of Karnataka.
As our college is located in the interior border of Telangana and Karnataka, where regional language is the common problem always. The importance and need of Kannada as mother-tongue and also it works as a link-language which is essential to teach as one of the Basic and Optional for BA and Basic for B.Com Degree respectively. Prof.S.S. Hiremath ,Prof.H.Kamashetty, Dr.S.R Tadakal, Dr Meenakshi Bali, Dr. Srishail Nagaral had S served and developed the department at the peak level.

OBJECTIVES OF DEPARTMENT
- To enhance students, linguistics, Oratory, Literary, Communicative and Media skills.

- Faculty member has completed their Post Graduation and Ph.D From Gulbarga University, Kalaburgi.
